There are many reasons why someone might need an appraisal. These includes insurance purpose, pre-purchase, donation, estate, liquidation. As a Member of ASA, our appraisals are recognized on a legal way - according on USPAP: an appraiser is someone who is expected to perform valuation services competently and in a manner that is independent, impartial and objective (for instance, an appraiser cannot appraise a piece of jewelry (s)he would sell, the appraisal would obviously not be impartial nor objective.) INSURANCE

This appraisal will be used to insure your jewelry. Your insurance agency will use this appraisal to determine a coverage plan which will protect against loss, theft or damage.

COIN GRADING

This service applies to only gold coins using the Sheldon Scale to grade accurately: to determine the physical condition of a coin.

LIQUIDATION

When occurs a Court order, there is no time to expose the items, an appraisal is necessary to sell. There will be either an Orderly Liquidation or Forced Liquidation.
